The South African Society for Hip Arthroscopy (SASHA)
The South African Society for Hip Arthroscopy (SASHA) was founded in 2011, marking a pivotal moment in the development of hip arthroscopy within the country and across the African continent.
About SASHA
This establishment was part of a broader trend toward adopting minimally invasive techniques for addressing various hip pathologies. Hip arthroscopy, as a field, represented a significant evolution in orthopaedic surgery, offering a noninvasive approach that would transform hip treatment protocols and patient outcomes.
